RIVALRY GAMES: Weather forecast pushes Platt-Maloney showdowns to Tuesday and Wednesday

MERIDEN — With the chance to severe storms in the forecast, Monday’s Platt-Maloney rivalry athletic contests have been postponed.

The baseball game at Ceppa Field has been pushed to Tuesday. Starting time remains 6 p.m. with pre-game ceremonies still on as scheduled.

The softball game under the lights at the Dunn Sports Complex on Thorpe Aveneue has been moved to Wednesday, still at 7 p.m.

Also, the girls tennis match has been rescheduled for Wednesday. That match plays at Maloney at 3:45 p.m.
