Plainville students spend a week at Camp Invention

Learning, fun and exploration continued for a group of Plainville fourth and fifth grade students this summer through the Camp Invention program held at Louis Toffolon Elementary School June 20 to 24. Organized by district Elementary Math and Science Instructional Leader Kirsten Penner, students from all three Plainville elementary schools enjoyed a variety of STEM related activities reinforcing the district’s Portrait of the Graduate tenets, including being creative, collaborative, innovative, mindful and resilient. The program was facilitated by Plainville Community Schools faculty members Amy West, Sarah Miller, Samantha Woodward and Jessica Cochrane.
