Local’s boutique has something for everyone

Nine years ago, when her daughter was little, Gressa Quinn became a stay-at-home mom. That’s also when she started selling her crafts; first, through word of mouth, and later, at craft shows.

She called her little business Quinntessential Design & Boutique.

That moniker stuck until 2021, when Quinn changed the name to Over the Rainbow Boutique, LLC, in honor of her father-in-law, who died unexpectedly the previous year.

“My focus has changed over the past few years to more personalized items such as wine glasses – my most popular item – cups, ornaments, t-shirts, vinyl car decals, wedding signs, and cake toppers,” said Quinn, who also has put designs on kitchen towels, car coasters, and drink koozies. Recently, Quinn added DIY craft kits to her list of products.

“The goal for Over the Rainbow Boutique, LLC, is to have a place where everyone can have a unique creative experience,” said Quinn, who runs the enterprise from her home in North Haven.

In a Facebook post, business owner Frank Mengert stated: “Gressa created all of our favors for a party. Everyone loved them, such a great idea.”

Over the Rainbow Boutique, LLC can be found on Facebook and Instagram. Also, Quinn can be reached at overtherainbowboutiquellc@gmail.com.
