A total of 12 shell casings were found nearby, according to a police report.

Police responded to the area of 12 ½ N. George St. around 7 a.m. on Monday. A woman told police she heard what she initially thought was fireworks between 3 and 4 a.m. and when she found a bullet hole in her vehicle in the morning she contacted police, the report said.
