MERIDEN — A man faces charges after police said they found fentanyl, crack cocaine and a stun gun following a traffic stop last week.
Timothy Slipski, 47, address unknown, was arrested on Nov. 15 and charged with weapons in a vehicle. criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, and distribution of controlled substances within less than 1,500 feet of a school.
On Nov. 15 around 11:30 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 343 W. Main St. for a report of a vehicle that was driving erratically. Officers identified Slipski as the driver and noted he was moving around in the vehicle and appeared to be concealing something, the report said.
Police searched the vehicle and found a working stun gun, fentanyl, and crack cocaine, the report said. Slipski is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing the weapon, the report noted.
He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 6, 2021.
