The Second Annual Treat Trail



 Families weaved in and out of the decorated fields at the Dunn Sports Complex as Meriden-based companies and non-profit agencies handed out candy and toys at the second annual Treat Trail was hosted by the Meriden Recreation Department and sponsored by Thompson Chocolate.

United Rhythms Dance Company performed while providing music all afternoon. Students from Platt High School, Maloney Interact Club, and the Maloney Art Club, volunteered to decorate, handed out treats, and helped clean the park after the event.

"We extend a heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers who helped make our free community event a HUGE success. The Treat Trail was a great example of a true community event" ~ Kathy Matula (Recreation Coordinator for the City of Meriden). 

Organizations that participated : United Rhythms Dance Studio, Higher Movement, Council of Neighborhoods, Kiwanis, Meriden Girls Softball League LGSL, Meriden Public Library, Meriden Rotary,  Valentine Karate, Girls Inc., Boys and Girls Club.
