I can't believe it, the new governor and legislature have solved all of the deficit of the citizens of Connecticut with assistance of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the New Green Deal. Their first step is to tax anyone who is not on welfare after all if they could pay taxes, then they would!
I can't believe that 30 or so years ago, we got rid of tolls so let's bring them back and we don't need toll booths. Well, I don't know if the average driver knows it or not but people drive with stolen plates, expired plates and have no permanent address. Have you seen cars with a tinted plastic cover on their plates so red light cameras, scanners and other device can't read the plate. Oh yeah, why not just have your car registered in Florida, Vermont, North Carolina or some other state to evade taxes. Don't forget to tax basics – food, medicines – and heaven forbid you smoke or drink.
I have an idea, if every one is smoking marijuana they won't even notice! Sure, sure marijuana has medical uses. Why it's just like handicap plates, lets take Gramma to the store so we can use her handicap plate and we'll leave her in the car so no one can question the usage.
I like the New Green Deal, tax payers can barely live with the taxes we have now so pass some new ones. My favorite is 70 percent tax on incomes over $10 million! That means sports stars, actors, CEO's of large companies will gladly hand over 70 percent so illegals and, according to the Green Plan, if you don't want to work you don't have to. Free education, free medical, free everything, now the millennials and socialists aren't exactly sure where the money will come from other than the shrinking middle class. Sounds like inflation in Germany during the 1920's, a wheelbarrow full of money will get you a loaf of bread.
Do you realize the liberals at Ivy League Schools in the 1960's and 1970's, are now the people making huge sums of money and have done a 180 degree on those beliefs. I think that anyone who wants to let illegals cross the border should take a few home and pay for their food, clothing and other expenses.
