SOUTHINGTON — A Tuscan-villa style home with sweeping western views of surrounding hills and a waterfall is on the market for $710,000.

The 5,076-square foot home at 395 Copper Ridge Road has four bedrooms, three full baths and a three-car garage on three-plus acres. The home was previously on the market for $799,999, but the price has since been reduced.

The home has a combination of stucco, granite and brick work inside and out, reminiscent of villas in Italy and South and Central America. The front border stone wall was transported from a farm in Coventry.

Enter to a 20-foot barrel ceiling foyer, interior balcony, arched doors, brick arches with an open floor plan. The floors are Bolivian rosewood, slate and travertine. There is a fireplace in the family room and baseboard heat from six zones, and two of four bedrooms offer temperature-controlled floor heat. Ceilings are between 9 and 11 feet high, and windows crank out five to six feet to catch the breeze on the hill. The windows are made with custom rosewood sills, and deep-set inside doors.

The kitchen counters are granite throughout with a kitchen brick backsplash and Viking six burner stove. There is a sound system on the first floor and outside. The staircase is open with an iron railing, there is a master bedroom suite with a nook, a 16 by 22 inch closet, four-head shower, and private bath and three additional bedrooms. There is another room on the second floor to convert to a fifth bedroom or den, and a third-floor bonus room, with 11 foot ceilings and slider to rooftop decks for viewing. The home has a full-size three-car garage, steel beam support, open basement with wine cellar and patio.
